HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

We are loving the cooler rainy weather here in Arizona. Can you believe how close Christmas and Meagan's Birthday and New Years is?! We were able to get our shopping done last night and Meagan wrapped the presents today. We had a lot of fun trying to find different things for family members... hoping they will love what we picked for them.

We started reading the Book of Morman as a family, we are just overcome with the amount of blessings we have recieved from just doing something as little as reading scriptures. We are so thankful for the gosple in our lifes.

Meagan LOVES christmas music....and makes the dog like it too... which makes her very full of excitement and happyness... which is VERY LOUD at times. ; ) Reid is happy that Christmas only comes one time a year and is learning to have selective hearing for Meagans expressions of holiday cheer.

Reid went to Salt Lake City, Utah today for work... he gets to tour some very special buildings. I'm sort of jealouse of his oppertunity to tour the buildings. Reid comes home around 9pm tonight to a holiday filled wife. : )

Meagan's Parents and two younger siblings return from a Christmas vacation to Hawaii tonight. Brooklyn says she is very sunburnt and does not want to go back to Kansas were its snowing. They sent some fun pictures throughout the week...it looked like they enjoyed themselfs to the fullest. The said our family and Nicole and her husband are not alloud to go to Kansas for Christmas. (They wanted us to start our own traditions) We are excited to see them in the spring (maybe)!

We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and New Years...

Love,
THE JOHNSONS

....WHAT WE DID FOR THANKSGIVING....

For thanksgiving... our little family of three (3) decided to take a road trip to BURLEY, IDAHO. We met my little sister Nicole and brother-in-law Trevor in Burley
(where Trevor's parents live).

We left rainy Phoenix, Az Thanksgiving morning at 6:30am and drove all the way to Burley.

We were able to play in the snow a little bit at a rest stop in the mountains.

It was a good drive, our 8 week old puppy never made a mess in the brand new car. (thank goodness!) He also never made a mess in his puppy diaper!

(There are a few pictures in here of him... his name is BENTLY)

We had a great time in Burley with my sister and her in-laws. We were able to have a turkey dinner with everyone from Trevors side on Friday evening.

It was so nice to get away from the warm weather for a weekend and smell some fresh air.

Below are some pictures of us cutting down trees and making it into firewood for Trevors family to enjoy this winter. They were very greatful for the 4 extra people to help. : )

We hope everyone had a enjoyable Thanksgiving!!!
Enjoy the pictures!
