Dairy

Image Detail

Allergies may be the death of me....

As I sit here with a box of tissues, sneezing my head off and itching my eyes and drugged with allergy pills mind you.... I thought I would get on my soap box about my allergies. Haha.

When I got pregnant with Colton, it was a difficult and painful pregnancy. He came out and BOOM, I'm now very much allergic to dogs. I haven't notice any dog allergies with Colton yet. This is super upsetting because I use to have my own dog, I grew up with two mini beagles and I have in-laws who have very cute loving dogs.

I got pregnant with Anna, super easy pregnancy....so easy in fact that I would have forgotten she was there if there wasn't a baby bump to prove it. She NEVER kicked me in my ribs and was just along for the ride I suppose. She came out and BOOM... now my tummy is super sensitive to dairy. Every time I try and eat a milkshake or bowl of ice cream or have a tall glass of milk with Oreo cookies, I get a awful tummy ache. Don't get me wrong... I will not eat dairy all week just so I can have a tiny bit of ice cream on the weekend, but then be sick all night afterwards. But to me, its worth it.

And so I sit here in this Arizona heat where in all reality shouldn't have hay-fever symptoms because its the freaking desert!

I will get off my soap box now and go back to wishing I had a HUGE Oreo McFlurry from McDonalds that didn't irritate my tummy.

Family night & Solar Eclipse

Our lives always seem like a crazy whirlwind over here. Haha. I just got called as a Counselor in the Primary, in a ward that has the largest primary in our stake.  I'm super excited for the calling and can't wait to jump in there and get my hands dirty.

The top 4 photos are of us during our family night on Monday. We had a spiritual lesson and then a fun game and jello to follow. We taught Colton a little bit of genealogy by chatting with him about who he is related to and how we are all together under temple covenants. He calls the Gilbert temple "Colton's Temple!"...its super cute.

Anna is doing better and better with wanting to stand and walk. She is such a joy to have in our lives and helps us remember to give kisses and smiles.

The bottom four photos are of Colton and some of his cousins hanging out eating fudgecycles while the solar eclipse was happening. What a neat thing to experience!

I love to see the temple... I'll go inside some day...

I'm so very proud of Reid and all the hard work he has put into creating such a beautiful temple. It is really beautiful and I can't wait until it is finished so that I can enjoy the inside as well. ;)

Meagan climbed a tree in the middle of a shopping area, the trees were soooo huge and spider like.

Reid and Meagan shared a banana cream pie from a cute bakery & pie shop

Last few hours before we left for Arizona, we got sushi!

These photos are of the last two days of our trip to Maui & Honolulu Hawaii. I will put up more photos as soon as I can get a hold of Reid's Ipad that we put them onto. ;) We had a good time. Lots of good food! We spent a good amount of our time in the ocean snorkeling. I only got a sunburn once (first day, of course) even after loads of sunscreen... but since it was on the back of my legs (due to snorkeling) it didn't peel and now I have a native Hawaiian tan (I WISH!), but I'm super happy it didn't peel off. ;) More to come!

Ps. YES, that is sushi, yes I did eat A LOT of it....yummmmy.
