Family update

Thought I should take a minute to update the blog, in cause people actually read it. ;)

Colton's last soccer game of the winter (remember, I live in Phoenix, things are a bit backwards) is coming to a close tomorrow, Saturday the 16th 2013! He has had a tough time with the fact that at practice you have your own ball and you get to use the ball to kick around the whole time and at the games you have to fight for a chance to kick it. I'm sure with time he will figure that one out. They didn't have swimming during the winter season because they don't usually get a very big turn out (even though the pools are heated).

Last night we went to the YMCA and signed him up for another season of soccer and swim which should start in a couple weeks. We also signed up Anna for swim during Colton's preschool time. We have a gated pool in our back yard that we are very cautious and worried about having a little one drowned so they will continue swimming for as long as we can help it. Plus its a really good exercise and a sport that is kind to the joints and bones, which we love!

Yesterday was Valentines day and I had a ob/gyn appt at 8am that took me with traffic, 45min to get to. Before I left the house I set out some chocolate long stemmed roses and pop rock candies for Reid and the kids to wake up to. When Reid got home from work he brought me candy bars, red roses and a cute card. He treats me so well! My mother in law raised him to be an amazing husband and father!

We have been fighting the sickies over here, seems like every time we go to church we catch something new. :( Can't wait for the warmer weather so the sicknesses can go dormant for a while.

Baby #3 update:
Everything seems to be going well as far as they can tell! I will be 18weeks on monday. Due date is roughly (because babies hardly ever come on due dates) July 22nd. I'm hoping to be lucky again and have it over the weekend like I did with Anna! That sure did help on having people around to watch Colton while I was in the hospital.
